To ensure environmental sustainability, the Australian government has formulated different environmental policies to protect their water, land and other ecological concerns.

For example, the Environmental Stewardship Programme and the National Reserve System are two of its major measures.

The Environmental Stewardship Programme

 

The environmental Stewardship offers funding to eligible private land managers to support a range of agreed management activities for the protection, rehabilitation and improvement of particular ecological communities.

The ‘National Reserve System’ is Australia’s network of protected areas, conserving natural landscapes, native plants and animals as show cases for future generations.
