"Born in Hong Kong, grew in Hong Kong, I was deeply influenced by the Hong Kong culture, namely efficient and perfectionism. After the exchange trip to Sweden, I discovered a lot of changes in my personality. In this trip I discovered a new style of life, and I would say it is a mind-blowing innovation for me." - By Isaac Poon (Year 2011-12 Sem B)

"I am not afraid of taking new challenges after exchange and I learnt to face and overcome them positively. After having various experiences on a wide variety of activities such as sand boarding, kayaking, horse-riding and scuba diving, I did enjoy all of them. Since I may not have another opportunity to go to Australia or to participate the same activity again, I seized every chance to experience. Based on these activities, I have altered the attitude towards myself that I will never know my potential if I do not have a trial." - By Edith (Year 2012/13 Sem B)

"The most vital thing I gained from the exchange is my positive attitude. I love how I become more and more confident and courageous when talking with everyone now. I was not intimidating as before, but rather I encourage myself to initiate a conversation when I am with others. I can naturally be a leader but appreciate others’ work at the same time. I also became more open-minded to all kinds of people and cultures, and more adaptive to different environments and more ready for challenges." - By Vincci (Year 2012/13 Sem B)

"After having my lessons with my talkative and active classmates in tutorial classes at Warwick, I am now more capable to take the initiative to start conservations and take a lead in seminars for discursive purpose. By making active and talkative friends, I learned a lot more about different cultures other than Chinese / Cantonese. I get more active in crowd and among people. That’s why I am sometimes impressed by what I have gained from these few months because I tried my best to make well use of my limited time and made a multitude of friends as many as possible. To me, travelling is no longer merely about beautiful sceneries or spectacular buildings, but discovering another side of myself and countries from different angles." - By Jimmy (Year 2013/14 Sem A)

"Overall, it is a valuable experience in my life since it is the first time I have traveled in Europe which  definitely bought new inspirations to me.  I discovered  lots of differences between Swedish and Chinese culture, such as night life, dinning habits and fashion sense. As a Chinese Hong Kong citizen, it is very important to learn to respect other cultures.  We should learn to accept and respect others which may contradict with ours."

"I am outgoing, active and talkative. Thus it is easy for me to make new friends. I met a lot of people around the world during exchange, not only from Turkey, but also from Europe, America, Middle East and other countries around the world. We shared different cultural and historical knowledge, and we had a lot of joyful memories together. "

"During the exchange programme, I have meet people from different disciplines. For instance, my flat mates were doing business and my group mates were doing environmental sciences and legal study. I had gain insights into different academic fields. This experience makes me feel interested in other disciplines. Plus, some of the exchange students were mature students, and they had shared their experience to me and told me that degree or master would not limit my career path. They told me that learning and studying should be interesting and they encourage me to study something that I interested or something that I have never done before. Hence, I plan to do a master after my graduation." - By Felix (Year 2012/13 Sem A)

"I have had exchanged to University of Bristol, UK, studying Social Policies last year, Jan- July 2013. It was such a wonderful and fruitful year. Not only did I learn the knowledge inside the classroom, but I also discovered and explored more through traveling around. Further, I know myself and my aspiration more after exchange."
